This role involves the end-to-end management of medical supplies—from accurate receiving and verification of stock to organized storage and prompt, precise fulfillment of requisitions. Position Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday, Saturdays on occasion for special projects What You'll Do: Maintain Hospital inventory supply in manner that avoids supply excess or shortage and thus optimizes Hospital operations efficiency. Receive purchased stock and ensure that such stock is congruent with complementary purchase orders and packing slips. Maintain inventory stock area in an orderly and organized manner. Assist Hospital departments with stocking and accurately locating and retrieving items within the inventory stock. Ensure prompt satisfaction with supply requisitions and requests made via the Hospital electronic service desk. Perform duties associated with complete daily stocking of Nursing Department patient care supplies, including unpacking, labeling, and placement of such supplies. Fulfill orders requested by authorized Hospital staff members, and complete reconciliation indicated during such fulfillment. Perform other duties assigned by Supply Chain Director or Chief Operations Officer. Qualifications What You'll Need: High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience working in a warehouse or retail setting stocking inventory. Medical terminology a plus but not required. Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and meet the hospital Motor Vehicle Record policy. You will join a collaborative and dedicated team of surgical professionals working within a department that features seven pre- and post-operative beds, three large surgical suites, and a specialized GI surgical suite. Additionally, our team supports an operative suite within the Family Birthing Center. Salary Range: $33.26 - $45.62, DOE Position Type: Full-time, shared rotating call required; a call weekend every 4th - 6th weekend. What You'll Do: Work in an environment where patients receive surgical interventions in the specialty areas of: General Surgery with Robotics, Podiatry, Orthopedic trauma & total joint replacements, Ophthalmology, OB-GYN with robotics, ENT/Head & Neck. Scrub Techs and First Assistants, within their scope of practice; optimize provision of surgical patient care through appropriate use of techniques Ensure surgical conditions optimization via surveillance of medical equipment Effectively collaborate with Hospital staff and medical staff members toward provision of pre-operative, inter-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA. Administering emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols and clinical guidelines. Responding to emergency 9-1-1 calls and interfacility transfers, providing timely and effective care to patients at the scene and during transport. Participating in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills, with access to specialized training in areas such as OR, OB, ICU, and ED. Supporting department initiatives, including quality improvement activities, public outreach events, emergency preparedness, and protocol development to enhance overall performance and service delivery.
