General Position Summary: The Peer Support Specialist provides a variety of recovery-oriented services to individuals enrolled in early intervention and adult programs who have self-identified as desiring peer supports. The Peer Support Specialist works, to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery. Services provided by peers include a wide variety of supports, services and advocacy that contribute to a client's ability to engage in ongoing treatment and work towards less dependence on traditional mental health treatment. These activities acknowledge the importance of involving significant others and other natural supports in the persons treatment that could positively impact their recovery. Position information: The Day Support Activities (DSA) Direct Support Professional (DSP) for day service is responsible for a variety of duties related to community access, effective communication, interacting with others, and health and safety of the individual you are supporting. This includes supports for skill building and ensuring person centered goals are being met in accordance with the individuals Support Plan (ISP). Direct Support Professionals are required to perform all duties in accordance with State of Oregon Administrative Rules, related to the specific program they are working with. A typical shift as a DSP for day services could include taking a group of individuals into the community for skill building or working on independence with one individual. General Position Summary: Conduct and review mental health assessments and necessary follow up services. Review Assessments and Treatment Plans conducted by QMHP’s at minimum annually or designate this task to qualified staff. Consult with clinic team as needed. Provide diagnostic evaluations as needed, Medication prescribing and follow-up. Work with OPMH clinic team and Behavioral Health Residential team to provide care coordination to clients. Position info: The Behavioral Health Support Specialists is responsible for delivery of services to individuals residing in a Residential Treatment Home following a personalized service plan. It is the responsibility of the BHSS to provide direct supportive services to residents of the home, who experience severe and persistent mental illness.
