Santiam Women's Clinic and Family Birth Center is currently seeking a talented and team-oriented Certified Nurse Midwife interested in a moonlighting position with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our well-established Women's Clinic and Family Birth Center boast a robust referral base with 175-200 births annually and offers a range of birthing options, including in-room laboring tubs. This position will provide coverage for weekday call shifts, acting as the first call OB provider in our low-risk birthing hospital. Salary Range: $1,200 per 24-hour call shift, $175/hour for call back if present for more than 4 hours Schedule: Weekday call shifts (day and/or night), with flexible moonlighting hours based on availability Benefits: Not applicable for moonlighting position; however, malpractice insurance is provided for all call shifts. What You'll Do The CNM will manage labor and delivery, provide prenatal and postpartum care, and ensure high-quality, patient centered care for low-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities: Serve as the first call OB provider during weekday shifts, managing labor and delivery for low-risk patients. Conduct prenatal assessments, monitor labor progression, and provide intrapartum and postpartum care. Provide clinic coverage for prenatal care and weekly OB checks as needed, including routine examinations and patient consultations. Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Respond promptly to patient needs during call shifts, including emergencies, while adhering to hospital protocols. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). Provide patient education and support for natural childbirth, breastfeeding and postpartum recovery. Uphold the hospital's commitment to compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care. Qualifications What You'll Need Successful completion of a nurse midwifery program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education Current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board Licensure by the Oregon State Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Midwife Nurse Practitioner Current ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification Strong clinical skills in managing low-risk pregnancies and deliveries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: Hospital Patient Access consists of staff that are responsible for three locations: 1) Front Desk Admissions – admits for radiology, lab, outpatient services and inpatient services 2) Surgical Admissions – admits for surgery and dietician services as well as assisting with scheduling and other duties; 3) Emergency Services Admissions – admits for the emergency room, handles physician call services and coordinates with multiple departments. Hospital Access Services is open 24/7, 365 days a year in support of our other departments. Hospital Patient Access is part of our Revenue Cycle Team – consisting of Admissions, Hospital Billing, Clinic Billing, Hospital Coding, Clinic Coding and Medical Records. This department interacts at a high level to offer customer service to our patients as well as other departments. Responsibilities: Admitting patients into the Emergency Room, Lab and Imaging. Completing registration of patients for inpatient and out-patient services. Answering multi-line telephones. Receiving and distribution of physician calls. Maintaining quality customer service and patient confidentiality at all times. Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Qualifications What You'll Need: Knowledge of principles that relate to the position. Aptitude in verbal and written communication, including ability to communicate with persons in all age groups. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Previous experience in customer service, data entry, and operating a multi-line phone system preferred. Possession of United States proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States. Possession of a driver license or analogous identification. Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and educational in-service. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced CT/XR Technologist. For PRN hours, with the availability to work multiple consecutive graveyard shifts. We are a stable, hospital-based department with digital X-ray, fluoroscopy and a Philips 64 slice CT scanner. Though small, we are a busy department serving the patients from the canyons east of Stayton through the West Salem area. RESPONSIBILITIES Graveyard coverage consists of primarily ER patients with some IP exams as needed. You must be able to work independently and manage our teleradiology service functions as well as operate PACS and imaging equipment such as our portable XR units and C-arms proficiently as we do perform general surgery exams at our site. This role involves the end-to-end management of medical supplies—from accurate receiving and verification of stock to organized storage and prompt, precise fulfillment of requisitions. Receive purchased stock and ensure that such stock is congruent with complementary purchase orders and packing slips. Maintain inventory stock area in an orderly and organized manner. Assist Hospital departments with stocking and accurately locating and retrieving items within the inventory stock. Ensure prompt satisfaction with supply requisitions and requests made via the Hospital electronic service desk. Perform duties associated with complete daily stocking of Nursing Department patient care supplies, including unpacking, labeling, and placement of such supplies. Fulfill orders requested by authorized Hospital staff members, and complete reconciliation indicated during such fulfillment. Perform other duties assigned by Supply Chain Director or Chief Operations Officer. Qualifications What You'll Need: High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience working in a warehouse or retail setting stocking inventory. Medical terminology a plus but not required. Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and meet the hospital Motor Vehicle Record policy.
