Summary Field Fastener is hiring a full-time Receiving Team Member for its Salem distribution center and warehouse operation. This first-shift role supports order fulfillment, inventory control, quality, and receiving while contributing to daily operations and special projects tied to company growth. Role Details Reports to the Site Leader. Full-time, hourly-paid first-shift role. Location is Salem, Oregon. Starting hourly pay is $17. Essential Functions Handle daily receivables from UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL, and containers. Participate in development and improvement of warehouse standard operating procedures. Perform general physical handling of product, materials, and supplies. Operate warehouse equipment. Troubleshoot receiving and technical issues. Verify material using calipers or other devices and inspect conformance to specifications. Keep work areas clean and organized. Fill in for other positions as needed. Repetitively bend, kneel, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Education, Skills, and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in a warehouse environment. Polite and professional manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Microsoft Word and Outlook knowledge and strong mathematical aptitude. Excel experience is beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and attention to detail. Ability to work overtime as necessary. Preferred Skills and Benefits Prior leadership or project management skills. Blueprint reading, warehouse management systems experience, and fastener knowledge are preferred.
