We are currently seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Network Engineer to manage and secure our hospital's critical network infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining essential network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and minimal downtime. A strong focus on cybersecurity is a key aspect of this position. The engineer will develop and enforce robust security policies, conduct regular audits for compliance with industry regulations, and promptly respond to security incidents The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver committed to proactive monitoring, effective troubleshooting, documentation, and staying current with the latest IT and cybersecurity trends to enhance our network defenses and support hospital-wide initiatives. Salary range: $43.37 - $61.84 What You'll Do: Design, implement, and manage Hospital network infrastructure in manner that ensures optimal network performance, reliability, and security. Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, virtual private networks, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and conduct regular network maintenance to ensure that network operates efficiently and potential problems are prevented. Promptly and effectively troubleshoot and resolve network issues in manner that minimizes associated downtime and disruption. Develop and implement security policies and procedures designed to protect network infrastructure. Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams that describe network configurations and standard operating procedures. Monitor, analyze, and respond promptly and effectively to security breaches or incidents. Regularly perform security audits and assessments that help to ensure Hospital compliance with applicable industry regulations and standards. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to design and implement security controls that comport with best practices. Maintain familiarity with recent IT and cybersecurity trends and advancements, and continually use such knowledge in effort to improve network security. Effectively communicate about technology issues with Information Technology Department staff, other Hospital staff, Medical Staff, and IT or cybersecurity vendors. Collaborate with staff in own and other Hospital Departments to ensure that applicable Hospital projects and initiatives are adequately supported by network. Perform other duties assigned by Information Technology Manager. Your role will involve managing hardware and software, maintaining network security, and supporting hospital staff. Assist with Hospital desktop hardware or software application installation, configuration, and maintenance. Maintain inventory of Hospital Information Technology (IT) assets that include hardware, software licenses, and peripheral devices. Regularly perform Hospital IT system updates and patches to ensure that systems remain secure and stable. Conduct routine system checks to identify and address potential problems. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, tablets or other peripheral devices. Coordinate with vendor representatives to carry out indicated hardware repair or replacement. Assist with setup and maintenance of Hospital network infrastructure components (e.g. routers, switches, or wireless access points). Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, and escalated such issues to higher-level support as is indicated. Ensure that Hospital staff abide by proper network security practices such as those that involve use of firewalls or antivirus software. Effectively communicate with Hospital staff at any technical level to hear and confirm needs and to discuss and implement appropriate solutions. Provide IT system or application end users with training and guidance in use of such assets. Create and applicably update documentation and technical guides for users. Collaborate with staff from other Hospital Departments to ensure that IT systems meet Department business requirements. Provide first-level technical support to hardware or software end users via telephone, email or in-person contact. Promptly respond to and resolve service requests or technical problems. Use IT Department ticketing system to document and track all support requests. Collaboratively work with other Departments staff to assess and resolve complex technical issues. Participate in regular Department meetings and provide updates about ongoing projects and support activity. Perform other duties as assigned by Information Technology Manager. Full-time, must be able to work Monday – Friday with weekly on-call rotation for after hours and weekends. Qualifications What You'll Need: Knowledge of principles that relate to the position, including familiarity with computer hardware and software. Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent credential. Superior aptitude in verbal and written communication, demonstrated skill in customer service provision, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. What You'll Do: Functions Specific to Role as MRI Technologist Responsible for performing all routine and specialized MRI procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information. Perform MRI studies promptly and accurately according to provider orders and established standards. Complete all required documentation clearly and in a timely manner, including MRI log book entries, and screening sheets. Transmit MRI study images to contracted teleradiology services as needed. Communicate MRI study reports to ordering medical staff upon request. Provide assistance with departmental reception, paperwork, and clerical tasks as needed. Remain flexible and willing to work at assigned times and locations designated by the Diagnostic Imaging Director. Patient Care Ensure patient safety and well‑being at all times. Transport patients to and from the MRI area when appropriate. Clearly explain MRI procedures, protocols, and expectations to patients. Assist patients with dressing/undressing and ensure no metallic or inappropriate items enter the MRI suite. Ensure patients complete and understand all required MRI paperwork. Consistently follow MRI safety rules and provide proper protection for patients and staff. Obtain and document relevant patient medical history. Respond appropriately to cardiac arrest situations. Stay alert for potential dangers to patients or hospital staff. Work Area & Equipment Maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. Perform daily equipment checks, including verifying proper oxygen source function. Report equipment requiring repair promptly to appropriate personnel. Ensure all items sent out for repair and returned have evaluated by MRI personnel to ensure items safe for MRI environment. Check and restock supplies daily, including forms, contrast, linens, and related materials. Maintain sanitary conditions by cleaning the patient table, footstool, gantry, and couch after each use. Adapt quickly to new techniques and procedures related to the role. Attend continuing education programs relevant to radiology and MRI practice. Maintain proficiency with PACS, radiology information systems, and clinical information systems. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department. Qualifications What You'll Need: Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI safety, terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy, including general epidemiological theory, infectious disease concepts, and rules of disinfection, sanitization, and sterilization management. Three years of experience within an acute healthcare setting. Aptitude in verbal and written communication, including ability to communicate with people in all age groups. Possession of a degree from an accredited school of diagnostic imaging. ARRT (R) (MRI) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, or ARMRIT certification is required. ARMRIT Technologists will not require ARRT Certification. Possession of current licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging for Medical Imaging. Possession of current applicable certification and registration. Possession of United States proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States. Possession of a driver license or analogous identification. Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and educational in-service. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire. Position Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (12-hour shifts) *What You'll Do: Promptly and competently perform mammography studies, as ordered by Hospital Medical Staff, according to established standards and guidelines. Promptly and competently perform radiologic procedures, as ordered by Hospital Medical Staff, in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, the Emergency Department, Surgery, and Hospital inpatient areas, according to established standards and guidelines. Transmit mammography study images to contracted teleradiology services as is indicated. Read mammography study reports to ordering Medical Staff as requested. Provide assistance with Department paperwork, clerical, and reception tasks when such assistance is needed. Ensure patient safety and well-being at all times. Transport patients to and from the mammography unit when appropriate. Thoroughly and accurately explain mammography purposes, protocol, and expectations to patients. Assist with patient undressing and dressing as is indicated. Consistently use proper radiation safety and provide proper radiation protection for patients and others. Elicit and record applicable patient medical history as is indicated. Respond to cardiac arrest as is appropriate. Appropriately maintain the mammography unit on an ongoing basis. Log in to the unit at the beginning of each day and log out of the unit at the end of each day. Maintain work area equipment on a daily basis. Promptly report equipment in need of repair to the appropriate person. On a daily basis, stock equipment that includes forms, linens, and other supplies. Ensure sanitary conditions on an ongoing basis. Quickly adapt to novel techniques and procedures related to the position. Attend continuing education programs pertinent to radiology in general and the position in particular. Maintain proficiency with the Department picture archiving and communication system, radiology information system, and clinical information system. Assist with Department Performance Improvement as assigned. Consistently work to improve the Diagnostic Imaging Department. Qualifications What You'll Need: Knowledge of principles that relate to the position. DEXA experience preferred. Current quality accreditation records (MQSA/ACR). Aptitude in verbal and written communication, including ability to communicate with persons in all age groups. Possession of a degree from an accredited school of diagnostic imaging. Possession of current mammography certification and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, that can be confirmed and verified.
