Job Description As a Hunter Communications Field Technician, you’ll be installing our internet and other services into customer’s homes and businesses along with the occasional service call and repair. Because this position has you working daily with our customers, you’ll need to excel at communicating effectively with our customers and working with urgency to complete jobs in a timely manner. Most of the work is outdoors and takes place year- round so the right candidate will be comfortable working in all weather conditions, while climbing/working from ladders, telephone poles, and bucket trucks. You must have experience with hand tools. The Field Technician performs all responsibilities related to installing wireless, fiber, coax, voice, apps, and streaming services. They perform maintenance on our network and repair services for customers when experiencing issues. Work is performed at single family homes, apartment complexes, and businesses ranging from small offices or restaurants to hospitals. A professional presence is required at all times, including when not directly in the presence of a customer. This is a full-time position, with a working schedule of 10-hour days, and 4 days a week Wed- Sat. This position also requires occasional travel to our other markets across Oregon and Northern California for a week at a time. There is a rotating on-call schedule and may require weekend work as well as overtime. Duties and Responsibilities Perform new wireless, fiber, coax, voice, app, and streaming installations, reconnects, upgrades and disconnects for internet and phone services. Install all services up to Hunter Communications standards and specifications. Installations could include relocating cable outlets, adding routers and modems, interior and exterior wiring paths. Working off a 32-foot ladder, bucket truck, and/or telephone pole at heights up to 35 feet Maintenance and repair of the network and customer services Training completion and strict adherence to all safety standards and policies Provide first-class customer service including detailed customer education on all products. Assist in training new Field Technicians (adjusted workload will be provided accordingly). Climbing communications towers of us to 500 feet to support and maintain our wireless network. Safety training and certification will be provided. Occasional out-of-town travel and on-call rotation will be required. Compensation This position pays from $21.00 to $34.50 per hour depending on experience. All travel expenses will be covered with a per diem when travel is required. Depending on what level you enter we advance rapidly moves you through our Field Technician training program where additional hourly rate increases and benefits occur. Job Summary The Community Relations Manager serves as Hunter’s primary community representative in the Salem market. This role is responsible for building influential local relationships, strengthening Hunter’s brand presence, and supporting market growth through strategic community engagement. The position connects Hunter’s expansion goals with local stakeholders, civic leaders, and business partners to ensure long-term success in the region. The team emphasizes long-term growth, skill development, and a team-focused production environment. Position Overview This is a full-time, hands-on production role in the wrap and print shop. The job supports vinyl processing for signs and vehicle graphics, apparel printing, laser engraving, material organization, and general production flow. Key Responsibilities Process and prep vinyl graphics for wraps, signage, and decals. Assist with apparel printing and laser engraving workflow. Maintain and organize vinyl rolls, raw materials, and stock. Support final quality control before products leave the shop. Occasionally greet walk-in customers and gather project details. Assist with shop cleanup, tool organization, and maintenance. Support the production manager with daily workflow tasks. Requirements At least 1 year of experience in a sign shop, vinyl production shop, wrap shop, or similar production environment. Ability to work efficiently with hands, tools, and production equipment. Basic computer familiarity is a plus. Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and move materials. Strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability. Bonus Skills Experience with Roland or Mimaki printers or VersaWorks. Vehicle wrap or decal installation experience. Apparel printing, laser engraving, or Adobe Illustrator familiarity. Compensation and Benefits Starting pay is $18 to $25 per hour, DOE. Full-time role with in-person work in Salem.
